Tireless effort and dedication to the motorsports industry have put JC Stout
and the Stellar-Quest Racing team where it is today. Stout’s interest in racing
stemmed from a trip to Canada with his father, where they raced in rental go
karts. The Castile, New York native was hooked on the sport immediately, and
with the help of his father and grandfather, he began his racing career in go
karts at age 11. Competing at local tracks in Western New York as well as
Canada, Stout captured three championships in four seasons.
After much success in karts at a local and national level, he became a
regular Pro Truck Series competitor at Wyoming County International Speedway. At
age 15, Stout became the youngest division champion in the track’s history. He
went on to compete in the pro trucks for two more years and scored several more
victories before moving on to Late Models. Traveling around New York and
Pennsylvania, JC logged seven wins and was also the youngest winner at WCIS in
the late model division at age 18.
2003 marked JC Stout’s first starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Racing for his family-owned team, he successfully qualified into three events
that year, and continued to make select starts for the next four years. An
opportunity to race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series came in 2008, when he once
again qualified into the show at three events during the year.
Looking into the future, Stout is looking to build on his race team by
competing in more Nationwide Series events. Battling with some of the toughest
competitors in the sport today, JC Stout and the No. 19 Stellar-Quest Racing
Team take pride in the efforts they put together with a hard-working, volunteer
crew and a positive attitude. Stout continues a part-time racing schedule in
2009, with hopes of running full time in 2010.
